By downloading, installing or using UKPass ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
UKPass provides study materials to help you prepare for the Life in the UK Test, taken as part of applying for British citizenship or indefinite leave to remain. All content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal or immigration advice. Immigration laws and the test itself can change. Always consult official UK Government resources at gov.uk/life-in-the-uk-test and qualified legal counsel for guidance on your specific immigration matter.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use UKPass on a personal device that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Service.
UKPass is currently distributed free of charge with all core features unlocked. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or paywalls in the current version. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these terms and the in-app information accordingly.
The UKPass app, including its design, code, graphics, original written content and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The Life in the UK Test syllabus and the content of the official handbook ("Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents", published by The Stationery Office) are © Crown Copyright and remain the property of their respective rights holders. UKPass does not reproduce the official handbook verbatim; practice content is paraphrased from publicly summarised study material covering the same topics.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer any part of the app without our prior written consent.

UKPass is a study aid. We do not guarantee that you will pass the official Life in the UK Test, that any specific question or answer in the app will appear on the real test, or that the app covers every topic that may be assessed. Your performance on the real test depends on factors outside our control, including the official syllabus, the questions selected, and your own preparation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of UKPass, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, missed test bookings, or failure of your Life in the UK Test or related immigration application. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
